In volume 3, there is a day of learning, fun and games in the land where letters grow on trees and the river flows with alphabet soup. The children are heading back to school, and learn about the seasons, months and days in Ukrainian. Also included in the story of the Mitten (Rukavychka). In volume 4, It is Boomchyk's birthday and all of the children are eager to celebrate with him. Join them in their classroom, when they watch a real birthday party and listen to the story of the Turnip (Ripka). As they walk to the party, they see a bandura being played.
