New Because children love to learn, sing and play, they will be delighted to spend time in the Alphabet Village, where letters grow on trees and the river flows of alphabet soup. Led by lovable purple host Boomchyk Borovyk, they meet Natalka who wants to learn the alphabet, Yurko who wants to paint a colorful village, and Maksym who dreams of being a soccer star. Their teacher Pani Vera finds creative ways to help them learn. Milya, an English-speaking puppet, pops in throughout to provide encouragement and explanations of activities. This video teaches a variety of Ukrainian words and elements of Ukrainian heritage. Closed captioning in English is available to help parents and friends who do not speak Ukrainian to follow along.
